Why Should We Interpret Quantum Mechanics?
The development of quantum information theory has renewed interest in the idea that the state vector does not represent the state of a quantum system, but rather the knowledge or information that we may have on the system. I argue that this epistemic view of states appears to solve foundational problems of quantum mechanics only at the price of being essentially incomplete.

سخن سردبیر editorial مجله دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان دوره سیزدهم، اردیبهشت 1393، 110-109 چرا باید مقاله بنویسیم؟ why we should write an article?
Why we do quantum mechanics on Hilbert spaces
You will go through great pains to learn the profound mathematics of Hilbert spaces and operators on them. What in experiment suggests the specific form of quantum mechanics with its “postulates”? Why should measurable quantities be represented by operators on a Hilbert space? Why should the complete information about a system be represented by a vector from a Hilbert space? It looks like we ma...
متن کاملMass or Only “Niche Customization”? Why We Should Interpret Configuration Toolkits as Learning Instruments*
In order to configure individual products according to their own preferences, customers are required to know what they want. While most research simply assumes that consumers have sufficient preference insight to do so, a number of psychologically oriented scholars have recently voiced serious concerns about this assumption. They argue that decades of consumer behavior research have shown that ...
متن کاملWhy should we imitate robots?
Previous research in HRI have shown that human’s subjective evaluation of robot’s abilities affect the way people interact with robots. Given that one of the major challenges in learning from demonstration in robotics is the limited number of training examples that the demonstrator is usually willing to provide, it would be beneficial to design the interaction context in such a way to increase ...
